Post Big Dog Accessories
I admit. I've been a bad Mom. While Diego has all the clothing options he could possibly want, his collars SUCK! So, I want to start our own line of collars and leashes. We'd love to hear what your favorite big dog accessories are or what it is that you are looking for. What do you like in your current collar / leash or what do you wish were there?

We are listening!

I love that you started this forum for your company! It sounds like Idawg is doing well. Congrats.

My akita uses a stainless steel prong collar. It's the only thing that feels strong enough if she pulls and since she's super furry, it never makes it to her skin. A simple chain collar didn't do anything for her--she would pull and it would feel like the collar would break. Too bad you couldn't pretty up a prong collar!

As for leashes, I would love a super cute, 4' leash. Most of the cute ones are 6' and that's too long for my dogs. I like the sturdy nylon ones, but they are boring! Everyone thinks my akita is a boy, but a cute (and sturdy) leash would be just the thing to remind them that she's a lady! A big-boned lady.

Post Disc Golf Bags for dogs
I am an avid (frisbee) disc golfer. Like many other disc golfers, I let my dog, (pit bull) tag along. Most disc golfers carry at least a dozen or so discs with them. It would be nice if someone were to design and manufacture a doggie-pack for discs-one which could carry at least 12 discs-more would be better. I am not sure if anyone has thought to market such a product yet but if not, someone eventually will. Disc golf is a rapidly expanding recreation/activity worldwide because it is VERY cheap, (compared to regular ball golf) and easy to learn. We generally encounter 3-4 other medium to large dogs on the course per day, (tagging along with their disc golfers too). I would be willing to bet that if someone were to design and market such a disc golf doggie pack as the one I suggested, it would sell at perhaps one or two per week nationwide. (Anotherwords it wouldn't be a huge seller but folks will purchase them.) (Google Disc Golf for added info).

A second product that I would find useful is a doggie pack for picking up litter. In my case, I carry a bucket around the Disc Golf course as I play. I usually fill that bucket with litter more than once per outing. If I had instead, some kind of a pack for my dog to put the litter in, my task would be easier. The bag/saddlebags would need to be able to hold the same contents as a small 1-2 gallon litter container with some sort of a upper flap to keep the contents from tumbling out when the dog trots off. It would need to be lined with a cleanable interior, perhaps one easily removed for easy disposal of the litter. I suspect such a bag would find a market with dog owners, (such as myself) who pick up litter in public places. Again, I couldn't see this as a large seller but it may do better than the disc golf bag I suggested earlier.
